Foundation Chairman Dr. Alaa Thabit Jassim received the Scientific Creativity Medal awarded by the Presidency of Duhok Polytechnic University in recognition of his participation and effective contribution to enriching scientific and research knowledge at the Second International Conference on Applied, Social and Human Sciences.
The recognition was presented during the conference entitled “Smart Universities and Their Role in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals across Different Disciplines.” Ajyal Al-Rafidain Foundation for Education Development was one of the participating and organizing institutions, in cooperation with Duhok Polytechnic University, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, the University of Sulaimani, Cordoba Private University and Wa'ai Center for Consultancy and Capacity Building.
The conference was attended by the representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Region, Prof. Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Weis; Prof. Dr. Ari Adel, President of Duhok Polytechnic University; Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University; Prof. Dr. Wissam Salah Abdul-Hussein, President of Cordoba University; Dr. Mahmoud Nouri Al-Hatimi, Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department at the Sunni Endowment Office; Dr. Ali Abboudi Neama, Executive Director of the Foundation; Prof. Dr. Suzan Saber Haider, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Sulaimani and Chair of the Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Board; Dr. Ahmed Jameel Al-Mudarris, Director of Wa'ai Center for Consultancy and Capacity Building; together with vice presidents of universities, college deans and a distinguished group of academics, professors and researchers from scientific and research institutions.
