Scholarly works and publishing services connecting research, authorship, translation and knowledge dissemination.
Establish, publish and develop peer-reviewed journals within the Foundation’s remit and partnerships, and build platforms and editorial policies for academic publishing bodies, with the responsible publisher identified for each journal.
Author specialised academic books, studies and reference works across the humanities, social and applied sciences and other fields of knowledge.
Coordinate calls for contributions and multi-author volumes, documenting contributors, affiliations, chapter or paper titles and page ranges.
Translate books, research and scholarly materials and provide language and editorial review, respecting translation and publishing rights and obtaining the necessary permissions.
Publish proceedings of international and local scientific conferences, books of abstracts and academic programme guides, documenting research, working papers and contributions.
Prepare and publish print and digital editions, educational resources, training materials, reports, studies and scholarly guides.
Coordinate scholarly editing, peer review, language review, production, design, indexes and metadata according to each publication’s requirements.
Provide technical support for journal management, electronic publishing, archiving and content access, including Open Journal Systems (OJS).
Assist with procedures for standard identifiers for books, periodicals and digital materials, including ISBN, ISSN and DOI, subject to the relevant bodies’ requirements.
Provide guidance on publishing quality, metadata and indexing readiness, while decisions on acceptance, indexing and classification remain with the relevant organisations.
