Prof. Dr. Saleh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Khalidi, Dean of Ibn Khaldun University College, signed a cooperation agreement with Dr. Alaa Thabit Jassim, Chairman of the Foundation and a faculty member at Al-Iraqia University, to establish peer-reviewed scientific journals using OJS (Open Journal Systems).
The agreement includes work to obtain International Standard Serial Numbers (ISSN) and Digital Object Identifiers (DOI), train staff in journal management, develop approved publishing templates, and define requirements, regulations and ethical standards for scientific research.
The agreement also provides for cooperation in organizing joint international scientific conferences between the College and the Foundation, with the participation of reputable universities, centers and institutions from outside Iraq, with the aim of strengthening global academic archiving and publishing and developing the skills of academic researchers.
