Through the sustained efforts and continued follow-up of Foundation Chairman Dr. Alaa Thabit Jassim and the Foundation’s team, Ibn Khaldun Scientific Journal, issued by Ibn Khaldun University College, achieved an important academic milestone by obtaining international standard identifiers and beginning its indexing in international databases.
The journal has officially received ISSN numbers for both versions: ISSN Print: 3136-0718 and ISSN Online: 3136-0726.
As part of this progress, the Foundation Chairman and team completed membership with Crossref, enabling the journal to obtain the Digital Object Identifier prefix DOI: 10.6337, in addition to indexing in Google Scholar.
Work is currently underway to prepare the journal for submission to the Ministry for formal recognition in academic promotion procedures and for registration among Iraq’s peer-reviewed academic scientific journals.
